I'm Joanna but you can call me Jo.

A native New Yorker, I trained at the C.I.A.. Cooked my way across the country. Landed in the Bay area. I’ve been a line-cook, bread baker, executive chef, pastry chef, caterer, hostess, sommelier, manager, and teacher. I garnered 3-stars at the Meetinghouse Restaurant, a top 50 spot in Gourmet, and a huge local following.

Now I consult & advise, recruit, train, & manage people, and simplify operations. I create new concepts, write menus & recipes, open restaurants & cafes, cater special events, and love what I do. I’m told that it shows.
